The following rules are put in place to ensure skater safety and the productive use of ice time during STAR skating sessions
Skaters are expected to have their hair tied back at all times.
Skaters are expected to have appropriately fitting clothes.
Skaters are expected to have only water at the boards. No food or gum on the ice or at the boards. A full water bottle kept on the boards also avoids having to leave the ice.
Skaters are expected to ask a coach if they need leave early.
Skaters are expected to ask a coach if they need to leave the ice for a washroom break.
All skaters have the responsibly to treat their fellow skaters and coaches with respect.
The coaches would like to remind you that any time taken away from a lesson to go looking for or speaking to skaters about on ice behaviour does not add any value to our on-ice session.
